The installation elements of Fragmented Nature bring to life the fragility and transformation of both the body and nature. Using natural and recycled materials such as dried leaves, papier-mâché, and rice paper, the processes of growth, decay, and rebirth are visually and tactilely represented. The sculptures and costumes form a layered, organic whole, in which the interaction between the materials and their transformations is central to the project. Each piece within the installation reflects the transience and beauty of decay, inviting the viewer to pause and contemplate the intangible processes of change that surround us.
