I have always been fascinated by the suit—its uniformity, yet the intricate craftsmanship and beauty hidden beneath its exterior. For this project, I drew inspiration from the inner workings of the suit: the dangling threads, hidden wires, and underlying structures. Dissecting and exploring the suit became a central part of my process. After carefully deconstructing the suit into its individual components, I scanned the pieces and traced the internal wiring and patterns onto tracing paper and made them into silkscreen prints. This deep dive into the anatomy of the suit allowed me to uncover and celebrate the unseen layers that give it its form and function.
